Please see my above reply. I explained exactly how you must configure it to receive the notification. If you set "Receive Moderator Emails" to "No" then you'll never receive any moderator notifications. This is explained in the CB 2.0 Primer Book. You may also want to watch the below videos to become more familiar with CBs configuration. As for "User configured to receive notifications", I see "Receive Moderator Emails" but nothing about notifications. I've always had "Receive Moderator Emails" set to no, because I thought that meant they would get emails sent to moderators.
CB Auto Welcome and CB Auto Actions can both be configured for a welcome message. Believe UddeIM also has something similar built directly into it.Another weird thing. I think I may have noticed this before but I haven't usually seen private messages to other registered users. I notice that when logging on to "testuser" there are two Private messages listed. They appear to be automated "Welcome aboard" messages from two users rarely log on but were last seen visiting the website on Dec 16 and Dec 17. Can a user set up an automated welcome message? Where would that come from?
Best way to find out if it's conflicting is to completely disable it then see if issue persists.Another possible factor. I recall that on Feb 5 2016 I started using CComment with CB integration. I'm looking that over to see if there is anything that would conflict but I don't see (or understand) where there would be an impact. I had another comment system that was failing, so I purchased the pro version of CComment because it seems to work well and I really want lots of opportunity for interaction.
