Folks,

I had a business need to be able to present only the Pay Now (PayPal) button on a user subscription plan. I have 3 gateways setup. Off-line Payment, PayPal, and PayPal - CCPH. The PayPal - CCPH is the new gateway I setup. It is configured identically to the gateway PayPal. The only exception is I am using the Owner ID with the PayPal - CCPH Gateway so only this gateway presents on the payment page.

The gateway is processing payments fine, but the IPN is failing and not updating the basket. Any thoughts on where I can look to resolve this issue?

I am running J2.5.8, CB 2.0.13, and CBSubs 4.0.2.

Folks,

Additional information. If I copy the Notification URL out of PayPal and paste it into a brower window, I get INVALID. In addition, I verified that the cbpid is correct in the database.

Check CBSubs > Notifications and CBSub > History Log for the failed notifications in addition to any errors. This should tell you what's wrong with the notification. If you have no IPNs logged then IPNs are likely not configured in your PayPal gateway. Returns to the site are specifically PDT so you need to be checking for IPN.

Understood. I have two PayPal Gateway's. The main gateway, PayPal has been working for years with IPN and is still working correctly. I'm receiving payments today and are recording properly.

Last week, I created a new PayPay Gateway using the owner id. I'm using the same email and token for the IPN information in this gateway. The error I see in Notifications is "IPN notification not authenticating at payment gateway". I'm not sure what that means or how to resolve. Your thoughts?

As your admin is blocking accesses from Switzerland I cannot help you.

Please note that protecting from hackers by geography is not effective, as those have bots in all countries.

So I will just reply here that the most probable misconfiguration is at your Paypal.com settings at paypal.com: There should be no IPN URL set there.
