CB Antispam not working was created by HCAA
Installed CB Antispam, but even with everything within it DISABLED, the CB Registration form cannot be submitted as long as CB Antispam is published. Unpublishing it causes Registration to work fine. We wanted to use Honeypot, but, after seeing this: "Error Captcha: Invalid Captcha Code" on every Registration submittal, we disabled every option within CB Antispam, and Registrations will not submit (same error) as long as CB Antispam is published.

We emptied Cache with no help. Ideas?

What captcha mode are you using? Switch to default Internal (Code) and retry if using something other than that. Ensure the antispam_captcha field within CB > Field Management is public, published, and set to display on registration.

If I use the Internal code, it does work. If I use Honeypot, it does not work. Is Honeypot functional?

You've set "Mode" to "Honeypot (Internal)" and it's not working or it's not working when you set "Honeypot" to "Enable" while "Mode" is set to something like "Code (Internal)"?

Ok, was able to confirm when "Mode" is set to "Honeypot (Internal)" so it only utilizes hidden honypot input it always fails captcha validation when used as a field. Have re-opened the below bug ticket and fixed for latest build available for download now.

That's terrific! Thanks for the quick fix.

I've installed the updated version of CB Antispam, and, when set to Honeypot, it does not fail CAPTCHA, as you stated. Of course, I don't know of any way to test having a value in that hidden field so the Registration is blocked. I can only wait to see if bots are still blocked.

It appears that it doesn't matter whether the "antispam_captcha" field is set to Required or not. I've tested it both ways at least to the extent that the form does get submitted; however, we won't know if it works unless bots are stopped (as far as I know). I've left it on Required for now.
