krileon wrote: Have reviewed your install. You still had CB Captcha installed. It's now removed. You changed CB AntiSpam captcha to reCaptcha v2, but never supplied the reCaptcha keys under Captcha > Modes > reCaptcha; I've copied your keys from your Joomla reCaptcha plugin over for you. I've confirmed it now works fine.

Hi, I have similar issue; captcha-recaptcha not showing up on registration page. recaptcha v2 was selected in configuring cb-AntiSpam. All captcha keys were provided in global configuration of joomla. Where do I find: "Captcha > Modes > reCaptcha" referenced above?
Thanks,
tdellum

[MOD EDIT]: Please do not reply to a year old topic. That topics issue was due to a legacy CB Captcha plugin conflict, which is highly unlikely to also be your issue. Simply create a new topic and link to the other if you feel it's relevant. A good cutoff for topic dates is if it's older than 6 months simply make a new topic.

Ensure CB AntiSpam is published and public in CB > Plugin Management then ensure the antispam_captcha field in CB > Field Management is configured to display on registration.

Replied by tonidellum on topic Captcha/Recaptcha is blank in registration form
Thanks for your response.
I have done both of those steps:
1. publish cb Antispam in plugin management (with recaptcha v2 Mode)
2. published antispam captcha in Field Management.
Yet Google recaptcha does not show on registration form. It shows only the text Captcha without a field (text or otherwise.
Here is my registration page: ogbomoso.net/cb-registration

Thanks,

Are you sure you supplied the reCaptcha codes properly? Nothing is being output, which typically means the parameters for the reCaptcha codes are empty. Navigate to CB AntiSpam > Parameters and configure the following.

Captcha > General:
Mode: reCaptcha v2

Captcha > Mode > reCaptcha > v2
Site Key: SITE_KEY_AS_PROVIDED_BY_GOOGLE
Secret Key: SECRET_KEY_AS_PROVIDED_BY_GOOGLE

It sounds like you may have supplied your codes to Joomlas reCaptcha plugin, which you can use if you want, but you'll need to configure the following after setting Joomlas global configuration captcha parameter to use reCaptcha.

Captcha > General:
Mode: Joomla

Thanks again.
After: Captcha > Mode > reCaptcha > v2
Unable to supply the recaptcha keys here because there are no text fields in which to place the recaptcha keys!

So I selected Joomla in Captcha > Mode
And it did show Google's I'm Not a Robot image in the preview. But still, nothing in the registration page.

Should I unstall and then re-install CB Antispam plugin? Something is not right.
Thanks,
tdellum

Unable to supply the recaptcha keys here because there are no text fields in which to place the recaptcha keys!

That's not possible. Please see the below screenshot.

Are you sure you're in the right location? These parameters are found in CB AntiSpam plugin parameters by editing CB AntiSpam in CB > Plugin Management.

So I selected Joomla in Captcha > Mode
And it did show Google's I'm Not a Robot image in the preview. But still, nothing in the registration page.

Only set Mode to Joomla instead of reCaptcha v2 if you've Joomla completely setup with reCaptcha v2 already as it will use Joomla for captcha output. If you don't know how to do that then set Mode to reCaptcha v2.

Should I unstall and then re-install CB Antispam plugin? Something is not right.

No, reinstalling won't do anything in this regard. It's not working because it's not configured properly.
