Hi,
it is time for a feature freeze. Since there are so many improvements and new features in uddeIM 1.0 translators and beta testers need time to finish their work (unfortunately most of the language files haven't been updated since 0.5b).
The goal is to release uddeIM 1.0 on February, 1st.
When you use uddeIM on your site and when you have updated one of the language files below, please send me these updates as soon as possible. Maybe you are interested in maintain one of the language files? Lots of users will appreciate this!

Unfortunately I do not have the email addresses of most of the translators who did the translation work for uddeIM 0.5b years ago, so it would be nice if these people could get in contact with me if they are still interested in supporting uddeIM.
Nevertheless when you use uddeIM on your site and you are able to do the translation in one of languages listed above (or a new one) please help supporting uddeIM in taking one of the work packages.
The current language files are available on joomlacode.org:
joomlacode.org/gf/project/com_uddeim/scmsvn/?action=browse&path=%2Flanguage%2F
Some important notes:
1. Translators can get SVN write access to the language files if they want.
2. When starting with a new language file please use english.php as template.
3. It is not neccessary to create ISO-8859-1 and UTF-8 files. I convert all ISO-8859-1 files into UTF-8 format for use with Jommla 1.5 automatically. Actually some language files are available in UTF-8 only (e.g. chinese or hebrew). When it does not make sense to use ISO-8859-1 in your language (or it is not possible) use UTF-8, so I will release the UTF-8 version for Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5.
And please do not forget to report bugs on joomlacode.org or in this forum as soon as possible!

Thanks very much.
