How can we change the title tag (name, first name) in the profile page of a user.

What do you mean by title tag? Where it says (for example) _UE_YOUR_FNAME (on the field configuration page)? This can be done in the language file: components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/default_language.php , then look for the line with _UE_YOUR_FNAME .

This would mean a code edit of the components/com_comprofiler/comprofiler.html.php page, I think. And core edits are not supported..

I can not find in comprofiler.html.php :dry:

When you installed community builder on your site, go to the root of your joomla (using an ftp program), then go to the directory components -> com_comprofiler // there you will see the file comprofiler.html.php

But again, I do not recommend changing core files if you do not have any experience in doing so.
