Good morning everyone.

I'm setting up CBsubs to sell subscriptions for and Internet Service Provider that sells different speed packages for home and business Internet connections.

We like the look & feel of clicking on the "Home" or "Business" check box and then having the different residential packages appear below it (3Mbps/1Mbps, 6Mbps/1.5Mbps, etc. etc.). But wheat ends up happening is the customer buys two services. The Home service AND the 3Mbps/1Mbps service.

Is there a way to consider the "Home" and "Business" levels to be something other than actual plans? It's getting convoluted from a management perspective... remember, the people who operate the site aren't programmers; this has to be intuitive.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.
Evan

Your problem comes from trying to use them as categories. They are not categories. Nor do we want to give the impression that they are or were ever designed to be. They are first and foremost Parent plans.

The best I can suggest is set those 2 parent plans as free lifetime then configure within CBSubs > Settings > Global to not create subscriptions for free lifetime plans. I'm not sure what negative impact it'll have on the child plans though so please test carefully.
