I'm rather close to have a full CBSUbs setup ready for launch :) and went over to test the last pieces.

Two questions concerning the expiration email:

1) I created a 10 minute plan and subscribed as a new user. After 10 minutes, I logged in and out a couple of times as admin in backend and waited for the expiration email, but nothing happened.

No mail were triggered until I logged in as the frontend user. What am I missing?

2) I've installed the Mailer plugin and wonder if it's better to use that one for expiration emails or just go with the standard setup for each plan ("Email on expiration"). If I haven't misunderstood the plans setup structure, I have these two options, right?

Joomla 2.5.13
CB 1.9.1
CBSubs 3.0.0

Login and logout of backend doesn't trigger it. You need to navigate to CBSubs for it to trigger.

You don't need CBSubs Mailer to send an expiration email on expiration. In both cases you'll really want to setup the CRON URLs so it's done automatically.
