When a user with expired subscription logs in, the following message is displayed:

Your membership has expired.
No unpaid payment basket found.

Which option am I missing to activate so the page shows the user an option to renew their subscription?

Please advise.

You need to ensure your plans allow renewals or you've a plan that allows upgrades so they can upgrade into a new plan as needed. Also check within CBSubs > Settings > Global that you globally allow renewals.

Global Setting is set to globally allow renewals (screen1.jpg)

As far as I could check, the plan is set to allow upgrades (screen3.jpg)

I wonder if it has anything to do with "Grace Period before real expiration" option (screen2.jpg)?

You have upgrades disabled globally so they won't be able to upgrade from internal free plan to a new plan (see first screenshot). You may also want to add a grace period to prevent them from being locked out immediately when they expire.

I have now enabled the upgrades globally and added a grace period of 4 months, but when I log in it still says below:

Your membership has expired.
No unpaid payment basket found.

Do I need to run a sync somewhere in CBSubs in order for this global change to be in effect?

The grace period won't affect existing users. Are you redirecting them to a page in CBSubs on login or is CBSubs trying to send them to a plans page? Just don't understand why it's complaining about a basket. It should present them with a page to renew their existing plan or upgrade to any available plans.
