I have been searching for a setting or someway to turn off the Your_sign_up_request_has_been_rejected email that gets sent out when a subscription sign-up doesn't get approved.
Is this possible without modifying the source code?
That's the UE_REG_REJECT_SUB and UE_USERREJECT_MSG CB language strings. If you translate them both to empty it should suppress that notification. See CB 2.0 Primer Book and the following for language usage information.
