[SOLVED] Redirect loop on login

i have cb subs 4.0.2 and cb 2.0.14. Joomla 3.4.8

new users can't seem to log in once they sign up and pay. confirmed that user is approved, and subscription valid, etc.

the error is ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

It does seem to log the person in, but then the site is inaccessible and keeps giving that error

i have also tried disabling sef and htaccess
i have also switched to default template
i have checked language files and user's language
i have deleted and added the user back in the back end
i have tried using joomla login module instead
i have tested using another computer
i do not have any redirects on login in cb or cb subs (unless i am missing something)
i do not have any cb plugin conditionals
it also seems to only be for new users, current users can still log in fine.

If the person does NOT have a subscription it works so it must be somewhere in the plans?

Can you please help me? Also this is a recent occurrence it seemed to be working fine in the past.

I just updated to the latest nightly build of cb and cb subs and updated joomla to 3.5.1 and still having this problem. Older members already in the system don't seem to be having a problem but new ones keep getting this redirect! Please help!

you may have a redirect configured under workflows tab of your plans or you could be using the expired redirects in cbsubs > settings > display > expiration incorrectly

Instead of showing the possibilities for reactivation or upgrades, you can display your custom page here.
These are both blank.

Plan workflows:
CB Login workflows
URL for first login visit
URL for every login
These are also both blank for all plans.

What else could it be?

It could be due to a non-public menu item... To check that:

Disable SEF if enabled,
Then check the Itemid that you have just before the redirects.
Then try removing that Itemid=... from URL, and reloading the page.
Then try logging in from the page without the Itemid in the URL.

If it works, check the menu id corresponding to that Itemid, if it has public access. Otherwise it won't work as the access to that Itemid will fail.

If it doesn't work, check the itemid of the page getting redirects. If it's 2 pages redirecting, the Developer tools -> network of your browser (e.g. FF) will help you find the URLs redirecting.

CB Profile menu e.g. must be public by design.

Again thanks for the reply. However, I do not have any redirects set up, so I'm not sure what you mean by check item id by the redirect.
