Protect URL that is not a part of the Joomla Stsyem

Hi, Is there a way to protect a .html page that is in the same domain but external to the Joomla system. I know this sounds silly but my client has a LiveCode App/File written by a previous developer that he wants to use. The file can be accessed directly by a url (e.g. www.clientsite.com/html5code/index.html ). For now my thoughts are to put this in an iFrame page from the Joomla system and add a content restriction using CBSubs. Is there a way in CBSubs using a small php script or .htaccess file that links into the CBsubs system? or could I use the 'Folder Access' plugin to do this?

Yes, use the 'Folder Access' plugin to do this

Check the CBSubs Documentation for the setup. You need Apache as webserver for that, but that's what's used by most hostings.
