Stripe Gateway unknown parameter

Stripe Gateway unknown parameter was created by wjgadmin
i am trying to get the stripe gateway working. i have all information input correctly i believe, and i am getting this error when i try to make a payment:

"Received unknown parameter: name. Please contact site administrator to check error log."

so then when i check the log you can see what it says via the image attached. can you please assist me with getting this resolved. am i missing something?

here is a link you may want to check out. it seems others have had an issue with this parameter being passed. please advise:

Update to latest CBSubs build then within your Stripe gateway adjust the API Version parameter. A new parameter is added to help be compatible with breaking API changes. We'll add a new version as breaking changes are added.

ok thank you. i do want to let you know that i see an API Upgrade notice in my stripe account even after the update today. it says there is another one available now. should i check back at a certain time?

also is there a way for the user to update their credit card information on our site? their user profile?

Latest Stripe API version is compatible with latest CBSubs build. You can safely update. Just don't immediately update to API versions that state breaking changes and you'll be fine.

also is there a way for the user to update their credit card information on our site? their user profile?

Make a new purchase and it'll update. Otherwise, no. CBSubs does not store that information. It is also safely kept at Stripe.
