In CBSubs a Basket is an Invoice and no you can't disable Baskets. If you don't want frontend access to past invoices (e.g. the link at the bottom of the Subscriptions tab) then you can disable that in CBSubs > Settings > Display using the parameters under "Frontend invoice display settings".
