error message: "a membership is needed for access" but no option presented

2 days 19 hours ago - 2 days 19 hours ago #341485 by kerry.kunzli
Hi, this message: "a membership is needed for access" but no option presented for the user to select... just blank screen under menu.
Am I missing a setting somewhere so the available memberships are presented?

This happens when someone's signup is incomplete.  User is created but basket doesn't get created or completed.

Thanks, Kerry.

That can happen if your plans are setup to have an exclusive plan, but it's not available at registration. Something like the below can be a problem.

Plan A (non-exclusive)
Plan B (exclusive)

With the above Plan A is available at registration, but Plan B isn't. In this scenario if I select Plan A you'll get problems like that because you've a parent plan marked exclusive. Exclusive also means mandatory. So both Plan A and Plan B should either be marked exclusive or non-exclusive.
