Ok, I've made several improvements and retested the entire payment flow for every layout available as well. Successful, pending, and failed payment states also tested.
Fixes are currently pending review. Once reviewed and merged we'll have a new CBSubs build release available where you can then give this another try. I'll reply here when the new build is available.

Ok, a new CBSubs build release is now available with several improvements to PayPal Advance gateway. I've also updated the instructions within the gateway itself for its parameters so it's easier to configure. Please let me know if you've any further issues.

I'll check and confirm all settings to see if we can get the basket completion working.
I did confirm all payments did go thru Evalon to back end bank and visa transactions went from pending to posted. It appears they were held up on the weekend.
I recommend updating first. The settings will be less required at that point as I've all the necessary URLs being sent with the payflow link now.
