Cant Install COM_COMPROFILER.zip help!

CB 1.4 component is larger than 2M
CB 1.3.1 is not.

This is the reason everyone with problematic hosting has the issue.

I believe that if you unzip the CB 1.4 component package and upload the contents to your website folder (just create one in root and ftp unzipped component in it) and then use the install from directory option of joomla (select the one you created). This should work.

Sorry, I cannot offer further assistance here.
You guys really need to find descent hosts because even after this issue is resolved you will run into something else.

After trying again ive finally managed to install it. Sorry guys it was a massive NOOB error. I was extracting com_comprofiler and then trying to install from that directory rather than installing directly from the zip file. Im happy ive sorted it though :)

I am having exact same problem. Have read all guidance and adjusted the php.ini file to 16M. I still get an error.
