Author link for J 1.6

It's hard to believe that Joomlapolis team take much time and toil to produce a nice and useful yet free extension like CB but do not care for a Author plugin for J1.6 . This is a tiny feature for them comparing with so much features and extensions available on CB.

I can't link user names to CB profile in J1.6.

Could somebody pls provide some hack?

I am waiting for the same feature too
