Hide URL Links to User Profiles

Hi,
I have noticed that users on my site can view the user profiles of other users - I do not want to allow this.

For example, my login is "brendanc"... I want to look at the profile of "johnb".
All I need to do is visit the following link:
www.mysite.com/component/comprofiler/userprofile/johnb.html

Is there a way to disable this?

I am using Joomla 1.6.3, CB 1.4.
In the CB Connections Admin Tab, I have set Display Type to private... cannot find a setting that is anyway closer. The default Joomla setting also show nothing like this.

Any thoughts, or 3rd party extensions?

Should have also included, there is a setting called "Allow Link to Profile" in the CB Admin Panel.
This is also set to No, but the site still allows me to link to profiles.
