Install error messages was created by felixkat
I've installed the latest release of Community Builder on a couple of different servers now and the initial install always displays error messages.

I don't believe these are fatal messages but messages that should be hidden during the install.

From what I can gather the install works as a fresh install or as an upgrade. During a fresh install I see the messages attached, the messages are due to tables not being found which of course is correct on a new install.

Installing over the top second time round is okay, as this becomes an upgrade and the tables are found.

I've only supplied 3 screen shots otherwise I would be here all day

These are virgin installs on the latest Joomla with nothing else installed.

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the reply, yes as I mentioned earlier second time round it goes okay.

Installing over the top second time round is okay, as this becomes an upgrade and the tables are found.

It would be quite daunting for a first time user of Community Builder. Obviously the instructions say if everything is green then it's okay.

I'm guessing these red messages are valid but should be hidden.

Something in your environment caused the errors the first time around.
Second time around that something did not kick in.
COuld be just a database glitch on your host.

I will try further tests but so far I have had the same results with two different Linux hosts and two different local windows setups, (wampserver and xaamp).

I'll double check the settings as maybe I have error level logging set to max.

I'll do another test tonight and update you with the results.

Thanks again.
