For some reason, I started getting an error 500 when users try to login incorrectly rather than the usual "Incorrect user name or password message". Any ideas...Please

I have this issue. Users get 500 error when attempting login with incorrect password.

Joomla 2.5.6, CB 1.8.1

The error occurs with SEF disabled and all caches (SEF, server, and browser) cleared.

500 errors typically leave traces in your server error log - please check it.
