I sorted that out, but not 100% sure how.. But think it had something to do with that I had too many Login items(type: Community Builder::Login) which obviously caused some sort of conflict. So I deleted them all, as the login item is purely optional.

From CB login item menu.

"This is an optional menu item for accessing Community Builder Login page. Normally not needed, as you would normally use Community Builder login module for this. This menu requires the CB Login module to be installed to work."

discovered today that I too am having this SQL error message. But it DOES send email with a password reset. But user wouldn't know that because of the White-Screen-Of-Death with mere words of "SQL error"...

how to fix??

CB 1.8
joomla 1.5.26

can't tell from this string of a clear fix.

thanks

We've detected this issue in 2 J!1.5 sites with CB 1.9 (after migration).

We've found out a Database error, some fields were deleted in jos_comprofiler table and when the password remember functionality tried to reset, didn't find the correct fields.

We restored the deleted fields and the email sent successfully.

Maybe is a CB 1.9 migration issue?

Hi all,

I had a similar issue where I received the message "Password reset failed" and no further info.
The password was changed but not email was received.

I found out that in the registration tab the "registration email"field was not filled in correctly and causing this issue.

Can a check and/or warning be added here to avoid this?
