Now we use Joomla 3.9.8 and CB 2.4.2

Someone already have done update to Joomla 3.9.9 ?

Yes, you do not need to ask if it's safe every time a new Joomla or CB release is made. Create a backup of your site (Akeeba Backup can help with this) and update. If it fails revert to the backup. Minor Joomla releases especially are extremely unlikely to ever cause problems. If still unsure review change logs before updating. For Joomla you can find the change log below.

lol, would seam lightning just struck. There appears to be a problem in Joomla 3.9.9 affecting template styles of multilingual web sites.

Note this has no impact on CB it self though. CB works fine on Joomla 3.9.9 and 3.9.10. Regardless as always I recommend making a backup before you update and using your own judgement on if you should update or not.
