Hi,
we have a date field which shows the end of a membership. The field was shown i a tab with its value. Normally its empty - the database shows - field is in date format with value 0000-00-00. But in the Tab its filled with the todays date 2025-01-08. Language is german. I had never seen this behaviour before. Is this a bug?
Only way for a field to show todays date reliably would be if there was a date substitution added to it. Is there anything configured under the Parameters > Layouts tab for your field?

No, all configuration fields are emtpy. When i have time i will test it with an old backup from J4. For now i think its the easiest not display the field. Its not so very important.
Strange, not sure what to suggest as I don't see how that's even possible. Are you sure you're looking at the correct field in profile view showing current datetime? Try editing the field and re-saving it. Try making a new datetime field and see if it's displaying properly or also doing that.
