[SOLVED] Custom plugin display issues. was created by mattyj714
Hi again, I have made a custom plugin that does creates some links based on values in a cb_field. Now everything works fine and the plugin does exactly what it should except it wont move to desired positions when set in CB tab manager backend.

My issue is at the moment no matter where I position my tab it will display up the top of all CB plugins as if it was in the header position and set to display first. Also it wont follow any of the design rules like "rounded div with title".

The plugin i made started as the cb_helloworld plugin and changed everything to fit my needs and then added my code in that was already a working joomla module but i have obviously changed or removed something that was needed.

So please can someone tell me what to look for to sort this issue out. Im using the latest CB, groupjive and cbsubs.

One last question, is their any documentation for Activity Stream, Auto Actions & Ajax Text Fields? Thanks for your help (again). :)

Cheers,
Matt

Sounds like you're just echoing your return data. Your plugin should be like the following to allow proper tab output.
Code:
class myPluginTab extends cbTabHandler { public function getDisplayTab( $tab, $user, $ui ) { return 'Hello!'; } }

And yes i was trying to echo the return data, swapped out all echo tags and it works as desired.
