We're experiencing problems on our CB Login right now.
If I put the CB Login module on our home page then login, it will just redirect me onto another page and it will not login.
But If I put CB Login on other page except for Home Page, it will work properly.
Could be whatever is on your homepage. Perhaps another module or whatever component is your home page? Review what's different between home page and your other pages then disable whatever is different and see if issue persists. Aside from that I can't think of any particular reason for this unless another extension was changing live_site for whatever reason.
