As I have some issues with installation I wonder if CB 1.9 and Joomla 3.1.5 are fully compatible?
For example the plug-in "ratingfield" does not show any parameters and it won't reinstall.
Is it best to use from CB 1.9 (Groupjive and Subs) compatibility point of view, - Joomla 3.0, 3.1 or even 2.5.14? Maybe wait for 3.5?

CB and all of its plugins work perfectly fine on 3.1.5. Rating Field has never really worked too well and its usage has nothing to do with the Joomla version (ensure you're installing it at CB > Plugin Management), but with next CB release (1.10.0) it has been completely rewritten and included in CBs core.
