a) Redirect to another page if page accessed in my WHOLE site advising they need a valid subscription.
b) Need to redirect when a public/guest users accesses member directory and tries to view a persons profile.
I imagine CB will do the second one (b), but can CB do both.
CBSubs does this automatically if the destination is protected by CBSubs and the user doesn't have a subscription. To protect the whole site I suppose you'd protect everything except CB. You can protect your menu items, modules, entire extensions, articles, or even custom URLs using CBSubs Content integration. Please see your CBSubs documentation for further usage information.
