Two quick questions regarding user lists:

Is it possible to have a menu item point to only a single user list?

Is it possible to have a module containing a user list?

In CB 2.0, yes.

In CB 1.x, no a it's broken; you could use External URL menu item and provide a userlist URL, but that doesn't work well if you use SEF.

Is it possible to have a module containing a user list?

Somewhat, you'll need to use a Joomla wrapper module and wrap the userlist URL.
