Hi
In the new CB 2.0 field layouts, I would like to add translated strings before or after [value].
I tried [_UE_MY_STRING] [value] but it does not seem to work.
Could you give me a hint ?

You need to translate the entire thing and not just part of it. No substitution, textarea, etc.. will do partial translation like what you're wanting. So for example the below would be a valid usage.
Hello [value]!
The translation string could be as follows.
'Hello [value]!' => 'Goodbye [value]!'
