Hi,

Joomlapolis did a very good job with the release of CB 2.O.4 !!! I think they have earned the rest of the year holiday for that ;-)

However a few of my sites want expanding their GroupJive functionality. Is there any idea when the new GroupJive will be released? Should I froze my GroupJive environments, now running for about a week on CB 2.0.4, or will that release maybe take months?

No idea, it's done when it's done. It's the largest plugin left to upgrade. It's going to take awhile. Given that I haven't even started its upgrade as I'm doing it last expect it to be awhile. Currently CB ProfileGallery is being rewritten to CB Gallery with a bunch of new functionality. Next is CB Activity then finally CB GroupJive.

A rough estimate would help me, as in 1,3,6 or 12 months or longer.

I can't give you a rough estimate. I don't know the scope until I've reviewed what all needs to be rewritten. Once I start the rewrite I should get a better idea of roughly how long it'll take. It's certainly not going to take 12 months. At the most 1 month once I get started on the rewrite seams reasonable, but when I start the rewrite I've no idea.
