Switch off all CB and CB Subs Email notifications was created by andrew432

I need to be able to switch off all CB and CB Subs Email notifications on a CB 1.9.1 site with CB Subs 3.0.0 on Joomla! 2.5.28 temporarily once in a while when adjusting users subscriptions.

Hopefully there's a simple way which I can't find, this site has CB Auto Actions if needed.

Please advise, this is driving me nuts, the only topic I can find is www.joomlapolis.com/forum/226-cb-juice/226516-how-to-stop-sending-all-the-automatic-e-mails#252232 which seems totally irrelevant.

CB only supports this in CB 2.x and on Joomla 3.x as on Joomla 3.x in Site > Global Configuration you can set "Send mail" to "No" under "Server" tab. For CB 1.x and on Joomla 2.x there's no such feature.

administrator/components/com_comprofiler/comprofiler.class.php

For CB 1.x and Joomla 2.x edit your Joomla global configuration mailer settings and input invalid credentials is the best way to stop the emails (e.g. select SMTP and put in fake data).
