CB Profile Template

Does anyone know how to change the width of the cb Profile template??
Link CB/Configuration/User Profile.
I have tried in vain to change the right column as I want it a little wider and no matter how much I change the width % in the 2 Column Layout the right or left column never changes when viewing it on the web page.
Also the 3 Column Layout settings don't change either. How does the user profile template layout change when there is not a select 2 or 3 column layout button??

The width is dynamic, it changes based off the width of the content pane of your template. The 2 column layout parameters have no affect on the Canvas usage; that's for "Left side (of middle area)", "Middle area", and "Right side (of middle area)" tab positions only and its translated to a Bootstrap class for responsiveness.

Why is it not changing for me then. I am using yougrids template and as there is so many module positions it still does not change. the label and user content overlap in the User Status column.
there must be some way I can change this in the css code?
If as it is for tab positions only then why dont they change?

You're going to need to provide a screenshot of the problem. I don't understand what your issue is, sorry. All the canvas positions widths are dynamic and can not be changed. They all use Bootstrap grid widths for full responsive display.

There's an issue with the column sizes though when you use specific columns; see the below regarding this ticket as maybe it's the issue you're experiencing.

This is my problem, see the right hand side of the image where it says language the label and content overlap. i need to make that column wider

It's not possible to change the width of that. It's meant for short information. Your fields should be set to display on 2 lines when using that position. The left/right sizing is not for the canvas positions. Please see my previous reply regarding this. The bug above also is not in regards to that, but to the column positions displayed at the bottom of profile. There is no way to make it wider without changes to its jQuery and HTML output as it's calculated.
