Unless I am doing something wrong or am overly tired again, the "What on your mind?" feature in CB Activity 3.0.0-RC2 does not appear to be saving, unless they appear someplace other than the activity view.
The save behavior didn't change besides links and tags being added to the process, but neither can interrupt the save process unless there's a fatal error. Currently there's no error output implemented so you'll need to enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration. Once done press F12 to open your browser then click the Console tab and try to write a status message. If it fails you should see a red error in the console window.
