Yes, it has 2 additional major social APIs to be implemented in future releases (not for 3.0.0). 1 being Share to share activity (or anything really as it'll be a generalized API) on your stream, through email, through other social sites, etc.. The other is a Like API to like various things around the site.
I assume by Link you meant Like, but if you meant Link then that's already implemented in CB Activity 3.0.0 RC3. You just click the link button when making a status post and provide a URL to share.
