Cannot search on list

CB 2.0.10

I have 2 users in a filtered list (out of 2200).

When I click on Search and put the exact name in the only serach field, it takes more tnan 5 minutes to get no answer (as they stop any process after 5 minutes on that shared server).

The case above is the simplest I came to, but i could never have search working properly in any situation, even after a complete reinstall of CB.

Any hint to look at?

Enable debug mode and maximum error reporting in Joomla global configuration then retry to see if any fatal errors are output. If none check server error log for any errors.
