Multilingual Website workflow texts

I am using the CB Language Override plugin to handle translations for a multilingual website I am working on. This works great within Field management.

Now I want to create multilingual texts for the subscription plans in CBSubs.
And then especially for the Website workflow texts.
So I create a language string in cblanguageoverride-language.php:

And I have set this in the Website workflow texts of the website: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/276508/Screenshots/Screenshot_2016-02-18_11.48.53.png

But unfortunately the text is now shown after subscribing: dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/276508/Screenshots/Screenshot_2016-02-18_11.52.24.png

Any idea what could be wrong?

What I found is that in the e-mails you can setup in a plan (Email workflow texts), the multilnbgual texts from cblanguageoverride-language.php are handled correctly!

But not from the Website workflow texts.

Language override plugin usage is unreliable. It's dependent on plugin loading behavior and load order. If the plugin isn't loaded before the output then the string won't exist to translate. If it's loaded too early or too late it can also cause problems with it not existing.

For CBSubs you might be able to create the following language file and translate it there.

That's odd. Why is it's use promoted then, even in the training video's?

Because it's the only language override functionality we have at this time. Even if unreliable it will work fine in several cases, but there's just no guarantee of functionality. We'll be implementing an interface for language plugin parameters to specify overrides that will persist with updates in CB 2.1, but for now we don't really have an alternative.
