I had already changed those fields to Text, so I created a test INT nber field for you to test, ("My balloon" tab in Profile) - guess what - it worked with Ajax enabled. So wait while I convert the other two fileds back to INT and retest, before you try anything...

Two offending fields converted back to INT, retested, and Ajax works fine with them.

No idea what changed - I did upgrade to the latest nightly build of CBSubs but nothing beyond that.

Closed the ticket...
