I received an email from PayPal about some changes as described in this link:

I am wondering if this will impact the option to use PayPal in CBSubs?

There are 2 items in that Paypal advisory:

1. SHA-256: SSL encryption of CBSubs uses your system's OpenSSL implementation. If your system is maintained up-to-date by your hoster, it will not be a problem.

2. Root certificates: Also a duty of your hoster to keep them up to date.

If your hoster uses a maintained Linux distribution, and is keeping your system up-to-date and safe, both should not be an issue for CBSubs.
