If I was to change their status in the DB for to 'Free Member' are their any ramifications?

I have run import and whilst welcome emails we sent (again!), they are no showing as Free Member status.

Bottom line is I want them to be Free Member, but do not want them to get more welcome emails!

CBSubs needs to globally be configured to create subscriptions for free lifetime plans as previously instructed. Once done if they've subscribed to or are given a free lifetime plan it will create a subscription row for them. I do not recommend tampering with the database, but if you must you are doing so at your own risk and should backup first.

Turn off emails globally within Joomla before doing any imports if you want to block sending them temporarily.
