CB Content Author and other extensions conflict

Hi,

first of all, we already asked to the developer of the extension that conflicts with CB Content Author plugin: Community Answers. He gave us a temporary solution by a code hack in his extension anyway he suggested us to ask you about this issue. Here we go.

In our site the extension Community Answers render the author name of the question in a wrong way, something like " <a href=" www.mydomain.it/profilo/userprofile/username ">First Name Last Name " instead of " First Name Last Name " (as a link)

We noticed that if we disable the CB Content Auhtor the issue is not generated. So it's something related to this plugin.

A bug?

They're applying htmlspecialchars to author, created_by_alias, or modified_by_name. Joomla doesn't which is what allows this bot to link Joomla content authors to their CB profiles. Your extension should be following that same behavior if it's going to use a Joomla content event and follow a Joomla content event object structure.
