Hi there,

we have a plan that is set up to be valid for a calendar year. We also have a grace period, so if someone renews within the last 3 month of the year he/she will get the next year too. So, renewing now would be valid for 2017.

However, [SUBSCRIPTION_VALIDITY_PERIOD_IF_RENEWED] replaces for 2016.

[SUBSCRIPTION_EXPIRY_DATE_IF_RENEWED] shows the correct date, 31.12.2017.

Any idea why [SUBSCRIPTION_VALIDITY_PERIOD_IF_RENEWED] does show 2016 and not 2017?

Thanks!

Technically the next validity period is 2016 and 2017, but it seams it only shows the first period. The subscription starts in 2016, but ends in 2017 making both those outputs correct.

Thanks for the quick reply.

So what you are saying is that I cannot use the validity period, but my only chance is the new expiry date? Why doesn't it display as validity period 2016-2017 then? I have seen that in other places in CBSubs.

I have one user that had Validity period: [SUBSCRIPTION_VALIDITY_PERIOD_REMAINING] showing 2015-2017, I guess 2015 is the year he first signed up.

Can't [SUBSCRIPTION_VALIDITY_PERIOD_IF_RENEWED] show 2016-2017 or similar? Wouldn't that be more correct?

I agree it should probably say 2016-2017 in this case. Have added a feature ticket to look into this further as the CBSubs substitutions certainly still have room for improvement.
