CB gallery comments outside CB ?

CB gallery re-work with comments on photos is a huge step forward

We use auto action to have activity input each time our users add a new hotspot with compojoom hotspots component and show the picture of the added hotspot.

Would it be possible to have CB comment system on this photo ?
Is it possible to use CB comment system outside of CB to show it on an hotspot display view for instance ?

I have another question for CB gallery : is it possible to display gallery items outside of CB ?
For instance if one of our users would like to pin another user's video or photo on its private space (which is basically a k2 user display), how could we do it ?

If it fires a CB trigger, yes. Otherwise you need to know how to use CB Activity API which is very early in its development. It'll be refined with CB Activity 4.0.0 where it'll function more like CB Gallery (roughly 3 lines of code to render a comment stream).

There's no share functionality yet for gallery images, but I guess they could just right click and copy the image URL. The way CB Gallery works is it prepares its gallery object, caches the gallery parameters to the user session, and generates and ID that's used to link those cached parameters to the gallery object. This allows the gallery parameters to persist from page to page. So I've no idea how directly sharing the image URL will work in this case. The share functionality will likely generate a string that rebuilds the gallery from it, but I don't know yet.
