Is it possible to have a URL that points to a plan registration form (just one single plan) when this plan is not available on the main registration page (where it lists all of the registrations) and we don't want people to upgrade to this plan.

I tried using the URL that was in the plan settings but it didn't work for me. I am assuming that I need to change around the plan settings.

The URL at the top of the page when editing a plan does exactly that. If you only want it available during registration then ensure it's enabled for registration and set "Propose spontaneously plan at registration" to "No: hide this plan from registration and from access proposals, unless specifically included in URL". Same can be done for upgrades if you only want it upgradeable from a URL.

Ok it is working now but when the person clicks on the URL, an error message appears at the top "Error If you already have an account, please login first. Otherwise you need to register using this form. We suggest subscribing to following subscriptions:"

How do I get rid of that?

Within CBSubs > Settings > Display > Plans empty both parameters under "Access not authorized texts". That should suppress that.
