I don't know if it's complicated to do but it's really a pain with these menus now, and I, personally, would mention it as rather urgent to implement with the number of plugins direct access added this year.

And Isis template does not work well with two lines of menu on small screens

Disable any plugins admin menus that you don't need immediate access to. You can also use the menu in a non-dropdown usage on the control panel (backend home page) by moving the module and adjusting its parameters.

I'm 90% done with CB Activity 4.1.0. I'm sorry, but CB Activity is far more important and am not dropping it to work on compacting some optional menu items.
