Hi Folks,

yesterday i migrated to another server with akeeba Backup and changed the prefix of the Database within the migration process.

Now, i get the following error:
1146 Table 'kiforad_db1.kasjos_comprofiler' doesn't exist

The prefix i looked up via phpmyadmin now is e.g. "khhfordb_comprofiler".
What can i do now? Can i change the prefix path someware manually?

Please help!

Thanks,
Dennis

Seams like their prefix replace didn't work correctly. You'll need to talk to Akeeba about that.

Yes, you can manually rename a database table. It won't cause any harm to the data to do so.

Hi Kyle,

as you can see here www.screencast.com/t/NO3EC38i the prefix has changed correcty.
So i guess the Information that leads to that error must stored anywhere else.

I´ll contact Akeeba, too.

Any Idea?
Thanks,
Dennis

Hi Kyle,

i got an response from the friends of Akeeba:

Hello,

it seems that the extension is using an hardcoded database prefix. First of all make sure you have deleted your Joomla cache, sometimes those info are cached.
Then you should take a look at that component options if there is a section to specify the database prefix. If there isn't, you have only two options: get in touch with their developers and see if you're missing anything or restore the site again using the original database prefix.

---

I cleared all caches several times. No luck. Remember CB works well apart from getting a Userdata to edit in Back- and Frontend.

Anything i can do?

Thanks,
Dennis

We don't use a hardcoded database prefix. Check the _comprofiler_fields database table and ensure Akeeba didn't replace the #__ in the "table" column with your database prefix (this was a problem before in an older Akeeba release).
