I am having an issue where if I reset a members password as admin it was not working. As this was on a test account, I did not think much of it/not a priority.

Now, I am trying to change a members user name and, when saved, the page goes to the admin home page and the edit is not saved.

I thought it might have been a caching issue, as I am again playing with JCHOptimize, but switching this off does not help.

Anyone with thoughts?

Are you editing them from backend or frontend? If from frontend does backend edit work fine?

Caching doesn't apply to backend. If it's happening in backend then something is probably breaking the form. Unpublish non-core plugins 1 by 1 within CB > Plugin Management and see if issue goes away.

I thought that I had already responded to this, but anyway....

It was my 'Message Me' field.

I had created a html button using a third party website. When I changed the button to an image, it corrected things!
