First thank you for this new field! I painfully missed that and now I am very happy to have this!

But how can I use this in a multilanguage environment?

You wrote: "In addition to this you've display formatting options to control how this field will display as a number on the users profile. You can optionally specify a thousands and decimal separator with both supporting language strings for localized formats. You'll find these new parameters under the Parameters > Display tab of your decimal fields as shown below."

What I have to do?

I added (for example for GERMAN) a language string (UE_THOUSANDS_SEP) in the field "Thousands Separator" and added him in the language override file ('UE_THOUSANDS_SEP' => '.'), but only the name of the language string is shown in the field, not the content.

Both the thousands and decimal separator parameters are passed through language API. Using a language string in both or either then using a language override to translate to a single character supported by PHPs number_format function should work fine (e.g. thousands separator set to . or ,). I've retested this to confirm it's working fine; ensure your language is properly loaded. Recommend using the language overrides interface shown below instead of manually editing the file.
