Hello

in admin panel, CBuilder / Users management, when I edit a member profil, the "Save" and "Save & Close" buttons don't work anymore. The "cancel" button still works.

In frontend it is still possible to edit and save profiles. In admin (backend) it is still possible to edit and save other CBuilder items (like autoactions). The problem seems to occur only in profile editing in Joomla backend.

I suspected a javascript conflict, so I started the Firefox developer tools ton inspect the console ; then I saw there is actually a jQuery trouble :

For information, I uninstalled a few days ago RSForm Pro and I was wondering if it didn't remove a jQuery file or something like that.... So I reinstalled Joomla core files, and CBuilder files but it didn't solve the problem. I also tried to find if there is a joomla plugin managing jQuery but I didn't find it.

Any idea ?

Thanx by advance. Best regards,

Antoine.

You've and invalid REGEXP validation rule on one of your fields. Most likely on one of your text fields. Note the error states "invalid regular expression flag ^".

Thanks a lot. I could hit myself as it seems obvious now - I thought the " ^ " in the error message was part of a jQuery selector...
As usual your answer was quick and efficient. Nice !

Best regards
