[SOLVED] User Update Error : 0 - Call to a member function get() on null was created by drgolden
Joomla 3.9.15 Stable
PHP 7.311
CB 2.43
CB Subs 4.3.1+build.2019.09.11.15.40.14.26806ef0d

This morning I received a message from a user trying to update her profile. On update an error page titled:

0 - Call to member function get () on null appears (image attached).

CB 2.43

Install the latest CB build release. Next ensure all your installed CB plugins are up to date. Fastest way to do this is use the Update All feature within CB > Plugin Management > Install New Plugin > Install from Web.

Are you able to reproduce the issue with a test user? Is there any more details about the error within your server error log? This usually happens when something alters the $user object and nulls it or tries to act on it before it has been established.

You ere absolutely correct. I updated CB Subs and some CB_Subs plugins and all is back to normal.
